ABSTRACT
The article examines the validity and reliability of the Slosson Intelligence Test (SIT) with its readily convertible mental age concept as an index of functional intelligence against Weschler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS). Both tests were carried out to forty-five individuals admitted to rehabilitation programs in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was found out that the SIT can be a useful instrument in a rehabilitation setting where immediate and general measure of intellectual functioning is needed.
