The article discusses the factors associated with laser welding of steel as compared with traditional welding methods and enclosed materials tests. Laser seams are smaller than the traditional welding seams. The high speed welding of laser restricts foreign gases to react with the weld pool. Plasma formation is apparent in laser welding.
