The article presents a narrative on the author's experiences on dealing with problems regarding the heating system of a students' campus hostel. In this paper, components of the system are presented. These include water boilers and radiator systems. The noise problems encountered by the occupants of the hostel are discussed. Moreover, observations on design requirements of the heating system are presented in this article.
