ABSTRACT
The article reflects on the culture and religious practices of Polish immigrants in Ohio River. The humble living of Polish immigrants, culture, and religious practices changed over the years. The humble St. Stanislas Catholic Church, parish church of Poles, slowly faded out in the modern scene. Only very few gave importance to the past traditions. The author stressed that clericalism and the dry scholasticism had drained away the generation's faith.
