The article reports on the naming of J. E. Wallace Wallin as the recipient of the 1955 Meritorious Service Award by Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. Wallin was formerly affiliated with Upscale College in East Orange, New Jersey and has been a long-time director of special education for the state of Delaware. Two annual awards to students of highest distinction in clinical psychology, special education and mental hygiene have been established by Wallin. Candidates for the awards must be preparing for service in one of the three afore-mentioned fields.
