Banks choose Latham for massive Wind bond issue

The article reports that Latham & Watkins would be advising a syndicate of three banks related to issue of bonds by an Italian company. The telecom company Wind which has been taken over by the Weather Investments in leveraged buyout is going to raise €1.25 billion through bond issue. The company Latham & Watkins has been advising Syndicate of ABN Amro NV, Deutsche Bank and Sampaolo IMI for the debt restructuring. Allen & Overy is also advising the banks on the Italian aspects of the bond issue.
