ABSTRACT
The article reports that the negotiations of Hammonds with its dissenting Italian partners have stalled after both sides failed to agree on the terms of a transition agreement to retain its profitable branch of the company Rossotto e Associati. The transition agreement will see Italian managing partner Riccardo Rossotto and his partners stay with Hammonds for a further 12 months. The agreement will be backdated to the start of the 2005-06 financial year. Hammonds secured merger with Rossotto, subjected to a three year transitonary period in the year 2002.
