The article focuses on the resignation of one of the founding editors of "Statistical Methods in Medical Research," Professor Theodore Holford, who decided to leave in December 2005 due to pressure of other commitments. He is replaced by Professor Sophia Rabe-Hesketh and Professor Anders Skrondal who will act as editors for the journal.
