ABSTRACT
The article presents findings of a study on the safety of children riding sport utility vehicles (SUV). The researchers found that children who were restrained correctly were about 75 percent less likely to be injured, whereas those children in the front seat were about twice as likely to be injured. If children in SUV were unrestrained in rollover crashes, they had a higher risk of being injured than those in passenger cars.
