ABSTRACT
This article comments on the fact that "The New York Times Book Review" featured a review of Bernard-Henri Lévy's "American Vertigo: Traveling America in the Footsteps of Tocqueville" written by Garrison Keillor. The author claims Keillor cannot fathom the intellectual weight of Lévy's transaction between Tocqueville and the present.
