The article discusses the development of the Institute of Management Services (IMS) Certificate and Diploma. The IMS has updated the education provision in relation to the needs of modern businesses which focused on productivity improvement. The training providers of IMS develop courses that meet the needs of clients, and IMS approves their schemes. Award of the IMS Diploma is developed to recognize persons who have enhanced skills and competence to make them suitable for supervisory and senior positions in management services.
