ABSTRACT
The article presents a variety of statistics in the U.S. Seventy nine percent of large companies will be providing retiree drug benefits in 2006. The average percentage increase in account balances in 401 (k) retirement plans open from 1999 to 2004 is mentioned. Ninety percent of homeowners believe that rising real estate values had not affected their spending.
