The article presents questions and answers related to crop decisions which depends on the type of soil. In response to a question related to the use of potash for corn soybeans, and cotton, it is suggested that potash should not be used in the deep sand. Although, the clay holds leached potash, yet it needs to be within the reach of the roots of the plants in order to get it. Informing about a question related to the appropriate quantity of nitrogen to be used for cotton production, it is suggested that 50 to 100 pounds of nitrogen is a normal rate and on deep sands around 80-100 pounds is good. But in case of leaching, the quantity may be increased.
