Strategic Gaming for the National Security Community

The article presents information on the National Strategic Gaming Center that comprises three divisions, which design and conduct strategic simulation exercises for rather diverse audiences, including National Defense University students, flag officers, senior executive branch officials and Members of Congress. It is located within the Institute for National Strategic Studies at the National Defense University in Washington DC. Games are sessions sharing a focus on strategic interaction under a series of specified constraints.
