ABSTRACT
The article discusses some changes to the way U.S. technicians and contractors perform Testing and Balancing (TAB). Building owners are suggesting that third-party TAB should be collectively contracted with third-party commissioning services. The building systems engineers' vision for the TAB process is to start in the design phase in parallel with the commissioning process.
