ABSTRACT
The article presents a corporate profile of ASIM Technologies Inc., a leader in manufacturing medium and high-end pyroelectric infrared (PIR) motion detectors for outdoor application. ASIM was founded in 1990 in Switzerland. Over 45,000 high-precision outdoor PIR security detectors were sold for various types of installations. Some of the unique features of its products include four meters mounting height to minimize risk of vandalism, digital signal processing and directional discrimination.
