ABSTRACT
The article discusses a case filed by a patient against her physician for failure of a proper and timely diagnosis of breast cancer. History of the consultations and laboratory tests done to the patient are detailed. After being diagnosed at Stage III cancer, the patient underwent chemotherapy and mastectomy followed by additional chemotherapy. The suit against the physicians was settled for $1 million.
