This article offers news briefs on the U.S. cable and television broadcasting industries, as of January 30, 2006. iTunes Music Store entered into an agreement with MTV Networks to make shows from MTV, MTV2, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon available for download to personal computers or iPod. Cartoon Network has renewed the animated TV program "The Boondocks." for a second season. The TV program "Fine Living" will be added to Dish Network's America's Top 180 TV programming package.
