ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the top ten reasons to contribute to the Educational Communications Technology Foundation's fundraising campaign. The reasons specified include: to make provisions of professional society to its members and uphold the mission of the Association of Educational and Communications Technology (AECT); to provide leadership opportunity to members; to provide it's members opportunity to leave heritage to their descendants and tax relief; as a regard to the leadership of the organization; as the contribution to the fund is exempted from taxes; and many others. According to the author, the contributions are for the professional community as the whole. Funds will help them carry forward the traditions and beliefs of the AECT. The AECT came into existence eight years ago. The author says that the AECT will not only compliment present generation of professional but also aid coming generation.
