ABSTRACT
The article presents information about the launch of stem cell initiatives in Great Britain. The government of Great Britain has announced about the availability of a fund of �100 million for stem cell research over the next two years. The fund will be used to support the basic stem cell research and centers of excellence and also to take initiatives for translational stem cell research and clinical trials. The government of Great Britain is also planning to improve collaboration and provide a platform for public dialogue on stem cell research over the next decade.
