ABSTRACT
This article examines the manufacture of sulphuric acid. The original way of preparing sulphuric acid is described. Several ways of preparing ordinary sulphuric acid are presented. The properties of pure sulphuric acid are examined. The uses of sulphuric acid in organic chemistry is highlighted. The reason behind the need to employ much more water than is required to form sulphuric acid is stated.
