ABSTRACT
The article presents news from the gaming industry as of January 2006. Sandia Resort & Casino opened an expanded facility 10 minutes north of Albuquerque, New Mexico's international airport on December 1, 2005. Also provided in this article is a project started by Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. Other sites and venues of interest to planners are discussed.
