The article reports on the history of late Roger Brown related to his contribution to the cable television industry. Roger joined the CED magazine staff as a technical writer. During his professional career of 20 years as a journalists he covered all the articles ranging form game-changing technologies commercial insertion techniques and plant construction overviews. Roger provided a list of detail transmission possibilities to its readers In August 1986 in wake of the technological improvement efforts of then vice president of Honolulu's Oceanic Cabletelevison, Jim Chiddix.
