The article reports on the financial performance of DBL Distributing, a distributor of consumer electronic products to independent and online retailers in the U.S. for the year 2005. The distributor has posted a 30 percent increase in revenues during the year. The gains can be attributed to customer demand among independent retailers and the growth in online shopping, according to David Lorsch, president and CEO of DBL. In 2005, DBL has signed distribution agreements with several manufacturers, including Philips, Daewoo, JVC, Protron and Microsmith.
