ABSTRACT
This article presents studies on life expectancy in the U.S. and Canada released in 2006. Based on a data from the U.S. National Center for Health Statistics, life expectancy of U.S. citizens increased. However, data from the Statistics Canada showed an even higher life expectancy of Canadians compared to the U.S. It indicates that Canada has a high rate of population growth among G8 countries.
