ABSTRACT
The article reflects on the importance of wireless communication carriers' performance to attract customers instead of advertising in the U.S. It argues that despite the high cost paid by carriers for marketing, customers still have a choice whether to stay in unreliable service. It contends that the reduced price offered by carriers to customers as a result of competition should not affect the quality of their services. It persuades carriers to optimize their networks to deliver high quality of services with less operational expenditure.
