ABSTRACT
The article presents an update on the cellular telephone services industry as of January 2006. SK Telecom generated 51 percent market share compared to KT Freetel's 32 percent share. According to Moderati, 60 percent of polyphonic ring tones that dominated the 2005 ring tone list are from hip-hop artists. Based on a survey conducted by Cohorts, educated working women are likely to spend more than $250 or more per month on cellphone service.
