The Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center will include a patient tower in its planned expansion in Danville, Kentucky. The Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond has begun construction of its 14-story health care tower. The Carolinas Medical Center-Mercy in Charlotte, North Carolina is being renovated.
