ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the editing of Sam Mendes' movie "Jarhead". Walter Murch, Scott Millan and Dave Parker handled the re-recording sound mixing. Murch claims that improvements within Final Cut Pro version 5 allowed him to offer the sound department the equivalent of a final mix directly from his cutting room.
