ABSTRACT
The article examines the views of physicians on the issue of physician-assisted suicide law in Oregon. Majority of physicians being surveyed believe that physicians should be allowed to dispense prescriptions to terminally-ill patients who have made a decision to end their lives. They also think that federal or state governments should decide whether the practice is a legitimate medical purpose.
