ABSTRACT
The article reports on the high level of interest and activity generated by the Novell openSUSE.org project which features the SUSE Linux operating system. The project intends to release a public development framework in early 2006. The development framework will include code libraries and a public build server that can be accessed and used by registered project members. The interest in the project indicates the intention of users to improve the software being utilized.
