ABSTRACT
The article presents information on developments related to automobile racing in the U.S. The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing needs to incorporate one free test into its new testing policy to allow teams and drivers to work on weaknesses. The data collected at Kentucky, Nashville and Milwaukee won't be sufficient. One should keep an eye on Casey Mears. As the senior driver at Chip Ganassi Racing, Mears, 27, should get the equipment he needs to have a breakthrough season.
