Structured Sales of Appreciated Property: A Space Age Use for Fixed Immediate Annuities

This article deals with the importance of the structured sales of appreciated property to fixed immediate annuities. Fixed immediate annuity is important to the financial performance of an enterprise. Hence, an examination of the financial instrument was presented in this essay. Fixed immediate annuity offers sellers an alternative way of selling highly appreciated property. The article also discusses the limitations of structured sales which include the risks associated with tax deferral strategy.
