ABSTRACT
The article discusses a new system which uses a virtual telecommunications service aiming to make both internal and customer-facing interaction easier and less expensive in the U.S. The system is called, Onebox Receptionist and it features a, virtual private branch exchange which automates phone traffic. Yuval Tal, president and CEO of Payoneer, a firm that offers prepaid Visa debit cards for worldwide use, opines that the system is a marked improvement over what he was accustomed to earlier. The technology enables Payoneer to deal with customers on the phone with a routing sophistication more in line with a much larger firm.
