The article describes the transformation of the World Service and Global News division of British Broadcasting Corp. (BBC) into the age of digital technology. Three examples from current news coverage that show how the viewers and listeners of BBC contribute to their daily journalism are cited. The television network believes that its role is to support the public in learning and utilizing digital technology.
