ABSTRACT
The article presents a reprint of the article "Home economics for boys," by Genevieve A. Nowlin, which appeared in the May 1937 issue of the "Journal of Home Economics". In this article, the author looks at the teaching of home economics for boys. A brief history of the teaching of home economics for boys is provided. The types of home economic classes in Los Angeles, California are vocational, preparing boys to be chefs or chefs' assistants and development classes where boys and girls together prepare school lunches. In Denver. Colorado, the high school course is called Applied Economics for Boys.
