ABSTRACT
The article presents updates related to the telecommunication industry, as of January 9, 2006. Dan Safkow of Aliso Viejo, California decided to donate his television, DVD player, CD player and assorted radios to Goodwill. Safkow said that television gave a negative impact on his 6-year-old. During Bill Gates' January 4, 2006 keynote address at the Consumer Electronics Show, the crowd's attention was on the Rose Bowl game.
