ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the football team Jacksonville Jaguars. QB Byron Leftwich, suffering from broken ankle, has missed five games but could start his first career playoff game. David Garrard, who finished 4-1 in Leftwich's absence, might be a better option. Starting CB Kenny Wright and MLB Mike Peterson were injured Sunday and could be out. David Richardson or rookie Scott Starks, neither of whom inspires confidence, could replace Wright. Backup LB Tony Gilbert is a big hitter but not the playmaker Peterson is.
