ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the football team New England Patriots. The pass rush prevented opponents from testing the defense downfield late in the season. With rookie Ellis Hobbs at one comer and Asante Samuel, who is mediocre, at the other, the secondary is shaky. The run blocking has been inconsistent, and RB Corey Dillon has battled injuries. One can look for OT Tom Ashworth to be used as a lead blocker in an attempt to open bigger holes. QB Tom Brady has carried the unit defense. Despite heavy turnover, the staff was able to fix the defense.
