ABSTRACT
The article reports on the major legal cases in Great Britain which have helped shape the Financial Services Authority's (FSA) enforcement policies. These include: FSA's case against Legal and General; FSA's second largest fine against Citigroup; FSA's case against two directors of banking software firm AIT; and Philip Watts' case against FSA as a result of FSA's decision to fine Shell for overstating oil and gas reserves.
