ABSTRACT
The article reports that law firm Slaughter and May has bested Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and will advise Australian logistics firm Brambles Industries regarding its plan to exit from the London Stock Exchange and release a minimum of A$2.8 billion to stockholders via share buybacks. Freshfields usually provided legal services to Brambles. However, Slaughter and May garnered the key British advisory role after it had instructed Allens Arthur Robinson regarding Australian legal issues.
