The article reports that Equitable Life has agreed to settle its case against nine former directors, with Allen and Overy (A&O) and Simmons and Simmons recovering their expenses. Equitable will be paying 5.2 million pounds sterling to the six clients of A&O. The settlement ends a litigation saga which has lasted for four years.
