ABSTRACT
The article reports on the NDP Houseworld's consumer information survey in the U.S. The information shows that in the 12 months ending October 2005, placemats were the top selling table linen category based on the unit sales and tablecloths were leading in dollar sales. About a quarter of consumers indicated the purchase of these items was for a special occasion, and almost half of the respondents said these items were for use in their existing home..
