ABSTRACT
The article presents notes related to novelist Don DeLillo and his work. The paperback edition of the novel "Libra" omits more than half of the Author's Note. The balance between the artist and the terrorist becomes one of the central themes in DeLillo's novel "Mao II." Gladney, one of the characters in DeLillo's novels seems human and sympathetic according to critic Bruce Bawer.
