ABSTRACT
The article provides insights on the advantages of incorporating pets as exercise partners and designing an exercise plan for people and dogs. The weight loss success of people who exercise with dogs is attributed to the fact that dogs are more forgiving according to practicing veterinarian Jennifer Jellison. The experience, age, exercise-habits and weight of a dog should be considered in designing a fitness regime. It recommends several exercises such as walking, dancing, running and swimming.
