ABSTRACT
The article reports on the approval of marriage equality for same-sex couples by the highest court in South Africa. The country joins the Netherlands, Belgium, Canada and Spain as countries that allow same-sex marriage. South Africa's highest court has given Parliament one year to fix the statutes.
