The article discusses the need for packaged-goods manufacturers to go on regional marketing. Companies must use geodemographic segmentation to realize success in business at the store level. An example of a company that employs regional marketing using geodemographic segmentation is Sears, Roebuck and Co. Geodemographic targeting must be innovative.
