The article reports that Baker and McKenzie has won the lead role to advise Australia-based Macquarie Bank Ltd. on its expected bid for the London Stock Exchange (LSE) in England. The firm won the contract because majority of local city firms were unable to bid due to conflicting roles in relation to the LSE.
