ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the football team Cleveland Browns. SS Chris Cracker has played well enough to keep 2004 second-round pick Sean Jones off the field. He lacks ideal size, however, and big backs can run through him, even though he is a willing tackler. Rookie Brodney Pool is expected to start at one safety spot next season, which could create a battle between Crocker, Jones and PS Brian Russell for the other spot. ILB Andra Davis lacks ideal speed, but his size, technique, tenacity and instincts allow him to function well in any scheme. Third-year CB Leigh Bodden has emerged as a long-term starting candidate after taking over for Gary Baxter in the sixth game of the season.
