The article reveals that Siebel Systems' partners are helping to keep Siebel shops from defecting to rival companies. Customers feel uncertainty following plans by Oracle to acquire Siebel. Some partners like Deloitte Consulting LLP is calming its customers by taking a business-as-usual approach. Other partners, meanwhile, are advancing their relationship with Siebel through additional offerings. But the key, as pointed out by Bill Donlan of Adjoined Consulting, is keeping customers and internal employees informed.
